A4 Passport Photo Printing Guide
Learn how to arrange 35×45 mm passport photos on an A4 sheet with exact margins, borders, cutting guides and PDF printing. Free browser photo tool.
Choose photo dimensions
Common passport-style prints use 35 × 45 mm, but requirements vary by application. Choose a dimension stated in the application instructions rather than relying only on a preset.
Arrange copies without wasting paper
Upload a photo, set the number of copies, then set the paper to A4 (210 × 297 mm). Use the live page preview to check spacing, cropping and any cutting guides.
Print with or without borders
Borderless photos are appropriate for some uses, while a thin visible border can make manual cutting easier. Keep borders and cutting lines consistent with the receiving authority’s rules.
Keep printed measurements accurate
Download the sheet as a PDF and print at Actual Size (100%). Disable Fit to Page, confirm A4 paper and measure the optional 10 mm calibration square with a ruler.
Can I fit eight photos on one A4 sheet?
Yes. Set the quantity to eight and the software will arrange them according to the selected size and spacing, subject to the physical page area.
